Our GOALS training course is an enjoyable personal development and motivational training course which helps to develop self-esteem and responsibility. We offer the training to our service users and to external organisations in the community.
Who is it for?
GOALS stands for Gaining Opportunities and Living Skills and is particularly useful for people:
- unsure of their life or career path or of personal goals
- who have hurdles or barriers to overcome
Equally, the course is helpful to anyone who would like to clarify their life or career path and set some meaningful personal goals.
What is it?
It is an interactive training programme with the power to identify the changes you need to make to become successful and to motivate you to carry out those changes.
GOALS has 10 keys to success: Acknowledge and complete the past, Positive self-talk, Acknowledge and affirm your strengths, Clarify your vision and values, Plan your future, Visualise and affirm your success, Act to create it, Response to feedback, Persevere, Reap the Rewards.
The GOALS trainers are experienced in working with people who have particular barriers to overcome, including unemployed people, young people, people with learning disabilities or mental health difficulties and ex-offenders.
Participants come away with a workbook and CD, a range of personal goals and a 30 day plan to change their life for the better.
