ITQ – The Information Technology Qualification (ITQ) is the NVQ for IT Users qualification and training package that has been created by employers to ensure that staff are trained in the ICT skills that they require as part of their job role.

Course delivery is designed to cater for varying levels of computer competence. So whether you have never used a computer, or have a more comprehensive understanding, we will do our best to meet your needs.

  • Information (Internet) Level 1
  • Communication (Email) Level 1
  • Word Processing Level 2
  • Improving Productivity (Mandatory) Level 2

Mandatory Unit

The Improving Productivity element is the essence of the NVQ model. In this unit you will be expected to complete a ‘real work’ task, in the form of a Scenario Assignment. This is designed to show that the Skills and Knowledge you have acquired can be effectively used in the work place.
